Yes, she believes accents are called accidents. No matter how many times she's corrected, she always goes back to accidents.

Though I have mixed feelings about bringing this up, have you reminded Addie that Gail has an accent and that's why she says, "banana" funny (i.e., "banahnah")? You could also tell her about people in lower Delaware saying "ruff" for "roof" or that I say "wooder" for "water."
