Day Two we woke up and had breakfast. Then we decided to just enjoy our surroundings and see what was in store.
This is the bottom level, just opposite the buffet restaurant where we ate breakfast every morning.
That's the Caribbean Sea just beyond the pool. Awesome
Benjamin and Graham would have chosen EVERY minute of every day to be hanging at the ping pong table. It was a popular area, though, located next to the Activity Center, where Brian is talking to someone.
That's our friend, Romaine, who is part of the Activities Staff. The Activity Center is where we exchanged our pool/water park towels each day too.
Peeking into the water park area. That's a rope bridge that goes over the water slides.
Our room is up on the top floor, directly in the middle. Our balcony was wonderful. It came equipped with an accordion drying rack to hang swimsuits on. After the third day we realized our suits were slowly missing. Then we realized that they would blow off the drying rack onto the ground (or balconies) below. We eventually became awesome at spotting our suits down on the bushes seven stories below. We actually never got back one of the kids' swim shirts. Oh well.
After playing around for a bit, we decided to go up to our room to get changed and to hit the beach.
Eventually I got comfortable taking the camera to the beach and water park, I promise! That night we had dinner at the Seaside Grill, which shockingly is sitting almost in the Caribbean Sea! Surrounded by a short cement wall, the restaurant is an open air place and awesome. We pulled some lounge chairs over and the kids were able to chill out while we waited for our meal. The edge of darkness you see is the Sea right there!!
We ate at three different tables, since there were so many of us.
Aaaaaand the kids didn't eat a bite. They fell asleep! They're not holding hands, but it looks like they are!
Cutie bootie sleeping.
